Our Honest View

I am sure everyone who is even slightly interested in gaming has heard the news about the next assassins creed.

I am hearing most of is fear about have another full installment so soon. any excuse to parry more people into oblivion is fine by me. But Am I the only one who remembers that Brotherhood and revelations was done by a second team? They have more then enough caffeine addicted geniuses to pull it off.

But granted fears are justified, with a new set of consoles coming this year and no knew details on the next Xbox. To have a major series already announce a sequel so soon is some what unnerving.. but fear not! I have a feeling that this was planned at the beginning. It was smart to "test the waters" no pun intended with there navel battle system in AClll, I was already getting the pirate feel to it.
But they set the bar pretty high this time by saying that both land and sea area will be seamless and have no load times, from what I have watched and read some of the Farcry 3 team Has joined to help so this looks to be very promising.

The most interesting move on Ubisofts part is the way they are approaching the time period. No more Johnny Depp making out with Orlando Bloom nonsense . They want to show the Christopher Nolan side of things, which is kind of how this series started, when they built Jerusalem from old maps and logs from the time period.

Lets all cross our fingers and pray to the flying spaghetti monster that this will be what we all hope it will be.
I just hope I get to make one person walk the plank!

Some rumors surfacing about the game are, will it be a open world? Following in the foot steps of Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 and Watch Dogs? Also a rumor that this assassin will be related to our assassin of the third game Connor. So starting a brand new story with brand series using the prequel/ reboot system every company strives for this year.

Most of these questions and rumors are now answered. For one you'll be able to customize your ship leading to the idea that Black Beard will either want to kill you or work with you. This reminds me a lot of the "Red Dead Redemption", with the whole good karma bad karma aspects. I am exciting to be able to customize and fight with my ship, finally a good sea game!

This game is going to be a open-world pirate game, which last time I checked aren't many out there! To back this game up however Ubisoft is using the foundation of the best aspects of each game. The ideas of stealth and style behind ACI, using the idea of buling a story bridging story and mechanics of ACII, Brotherhood and Relevations. And of course using historical events and accurancy from ACIII. This still leaves many people wondering with this be a good game? When they're still judging ACIII and the release of the new DLC for game.

Only time will tell however but with a game based off of this concept and strong foundation kind of hard not to want to see more!
