As most of you have finished Bioshock Infinite many of you are probably wondering how Infinite fits in the series.

There are discussions of metaphysics and time travel and multiverse theory and all sorts of things buried there.This is shown through your venture to Rapture, you learn a lot from Elizabeth, at first you think this is just a consient and no relation seeing as there wasn't a mention before.

But then she slightly resembles a Little Sister. Her eyes become dark yellow, with the dark rims around them. And she even holds her hand out indicating that she is the opposite of one.

The implication here is that DeWitt/Comstock is Jack/Andrew Ryan. Both was some version of the other, who goes on to kill their elder who has created a massive city as a tribute to their own ego. Booker enters a parallel universe via the lighthouse, but we have to remember that Jack did the same thing. By entering through a lighthouse, that would also indicate he’s coming from another universe as well, right? Kind of like a Bermuda Triangle perhaps?

The title of Infinite itself is a semi give a way. Infinite worlds held together some how? The Lighthouse is the key! Going up brings you to Columbia and going down brings  you to Rapture. These places are also polar opposites. Like Hell and Heaven.

Columbia resembles separation of Church and science where leaders and God like worship is given to the founding fathers. Now the polar opposite is then shown in Rapture a anarchist society where religion is completely removed from the pciture. This is also shown through the coin flips. Every time its heads!

If we we're in Rapture would have been tails each time? Coins have two sides, like two different realities. Ever character in both games has a equivalent there must be for the worlds to function. Booker is Jack Salt is Ever the world's need polar opposites to survive. Little Sisters are  modled after Elizabeth and since Big Daddies protect them are they modeled after Songbirds?

Now it's possible that different dimensions has different timelines that altered and Rapture was created due to the destruction of Columbia.

This game leaves some many questions and few answers which is great. All this came about in a debate when a customer asked us how this game fits in the series. I like the idea of multiple interpretations, I haven't been this curious of a ending of something since Inception!
