Predictions:
WWE Championship Match:-The Rock (c) vs. John Cena
Let's start off by saying if Cena's not turning heel after or during Wrestlemania boy he's the greatest actor. I don't see the point building up though, Rock at one point tried to put Cena over with the crowd as being a great wrestler etc... I mean Cena can't walk out of NY with the WWE title on his current character. This promo idea was scrapped. Then Cena began ranting he didn't care if you booed or cheered him night after night because it was about redemption. Personally I think Cena will win and turn heel giving way for Punk or Lesnar to come back as face and feud with him following Wrestlemania.
Rock obvious just won the title to prove a point at 40 and didn't even bring the title on The Tonight Show, what the hell. Without WWE you'd be nothing Rock remember that. Plus I loved Cena's promo about doing his own thing and redemption he is becoming a tweener perhaps? Like Orton for so long. I can't see Rock sticking around much after Wrestlemania seeing as he's filming a million movies, and he's barley on raw now.
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: John Cena new champion
-The Undertaker vs. CM Punk
The Best Streak in the world VS. BEST IN THE WORLD!!! I think Punk truly is going to win. He hasn't had his own Wrestlemania moment seeing as his amazing victory over Y2J last year was overshadowed by Rock vs Cena and Taker vs Triple H. I don't see Undertaker coming back after this I would love to see Punk win. I know Punk will be off the air for awhile after Wrestlemania to rest up which is fine. Then bring him back with a new lease as truly the 1 in 20-1. Undertaker said many times he'd end the streak to Cena, well I can't see that coming anytime soon plus making Cena heel vs Taker doesn't seem the wisest.
The promos between the two are very good. Punk claims he can beat Undertaker because he is Straight edge is awesome and that would give Punk two great years on a row. Keep it going they did with Cena many years ago. Punk could be the best, he had truly the best wwe title reign. But I don't like the idea of using Paul Bearer's death. Punk claimed he didn't write or like the promos they made him do with the urn. Truly I think it's too soon and crossing the line but then again when Punk doesn't do his own promos it sucks!
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: CM PUNK 20-1
No Holds Barred Match with Triple H's Career On The Line:
-Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
So Triple H "retired" after this match and is coming out of retirment to fight match where he could have to retire again!?!?! God so confusing. Well this is a toss up on who will win.
Triple H could win and reclaim his King of Kings status but probably never wrestle again, this will most likely happen in a bloody fight. But I can also see Lesnar winning and proving he's the best, then becoming a company face or heel. Though I'd love to see Lesnar vs Rock at Summerslam for the 10 year anniversary for a title of some sort.
I can see Triple H winning only to loose to Lesnar at Extreme Rules in a Lesnar vs Triple H III.
Regardless this will be a amazing match, Triple H can take a beating but I doubt they'll be any wrestling and mostly fighting.
Lesnar is to good to "wrestle" he knows the real deal I'd like to see him fight Alberto Del Rio... MMA fighter turned wrestler remember? AND You know when Punk comes back they'll be Cena and Rock vs Punk and Lesnar or Rock and Triple H vs Lesnar and Punk...
This is only the beginning. Of course when HBK comes out, you know he's adding emotion to a match, I mean he really made the match between Undertaker and Triple H.
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: TRIPLE H
World Heavyweight Title Match:
-Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger with Zeb Colter
The World Title never gets love anymore. I haven't seen a good World Title Wrestlemania match since the Undertaker won the title year after year. I'd truly rather see Del Rio vs Colter for the title.
But with Swagger breaking Ricardo's ankle, revenge is a must for Del Rio. Then again with Swagger's arrest he'll most likely not win the match and of course Ziggler won't cash in.
Colter is a great heel and promo guy but Swagger has little to no promo time that was relevant or good. I like having him be a top heel but market the guy better. He's a voiceless Kurt Angle. I do like the idea of Armbreaker vs Anklebreaker but Del Rio has to win. Without Mysterio and the failed hopes of Sin Cara we need a popular Mexican wrestler.
I feel Del Rio will "break" Swagger's arm so that they can write him off the air to GO to jail. Leaving Orton-Del Rio feud?
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: ALBERTO DEL RIO STILL CHAMP
-Randy Orton, Sheamus & Big Show vs. The Shield
Plain and simple this match will be like the one with Sheamus, Ryback and Cena. All over the place and they'll be a miscommunication leaving the Shield STILL UNDEFEATED. I like the Shield but they need more ring time and promo time and of course the tag titles. Freebird rules all the way. Of course then Orton will get angry and RKO all five men in the ring. This will make Big Show face again and probably one of the top ones and Orton will hopefully join Cena as a heel! Orton's heel turn is long overdue and he's said he likes being a heel, give the man what he wants.
Maybe Orton and Cena could form a team where Cena throws the guys up and Orton RKOs them. They can call it "You Can't See THE RKO"
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNERS: THE SHIELD
Intercontinental Championship Match:
-Wade Barrett (c) vs. The Miz
So Miz couldn't win the US title after like 6 months of wrestling Cesaro every night? Miz still isn't put over as a top face? Maybe you got the wrong guy? Then again Barrett has won maybe half of his matches since he won the IC title.. I"m telling you by not having Y2J in this match it's going to be a another filler match. neither offer anything new to wrestling Miz is great on the mic but still awkward in the ring. Barrett is brutal in the ring but horrible promos, whatever happen to him being a world champion?
My thought is Miz will win and be undefeated at Wrestlemania then we'll have a heel Kingston turn for them to feud. Then Barrett can move on to the WWE title picture finally!
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: THE MIZ NEW IC CHAMP
-Ryback vs. Mark Henry
Wasn't Ryback suppose to be the next Cena? Did you know McMahon wanted Ryback to beat Punk for the title several times and be champion especially while Cena was injured. Ryback is no Cena however the Shield ruined his run and he never really got revenge thanks to one man. The Hall of Pain Mark Henry. I really like Henry and want him to win he was a amazing champion and scary individual. He's the World's Strongest Man. For once like when he feuded with Big Show Henry will be the better wrestler than Ryback.
I really thought the roles would be reverse and Henry would be a face and Ryback wold be a heel. But I guess I'm wrong. That's okay I can't see this match going back 6 minutes and probably won't end clean. Maybe Teddy and Booker will come out and one will go heel and help Henry, you know this feud will continue to Extreme Rules where they'll have a tables match or chains match. Battle of the Beats.
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: RYBACK
WWE Tag Team Championship Match:
-Team Hell No, Kane and Daniel Bryan (c's) vs. Dolph Ziggler & Big E. Langston
We've seen the dissolving of Team Hell No over the past few months and we know they're teaming will end at Wrestlemania and start a feud AGAIN between the two.... BORING seeing as these men where main eventers over a year ago. If DB didn't have his so called Wrestlemania moment last year where would he be now? Now with Ziggler and Big E might as well make them tag champs because whatever mainevent or champion status they want Ziggler to have is gone.
Ric Flair was really suppose to teach Ziggler and not Miz and make Ziggler the new face. But can't argue with a good heel. Ziggler isn't even a heel he's just a bad guy which works. I just see them holding down the tag team divison seeing as they're no other tag teams now and Ziggler is good with holding onto things and not using them i.e Aj ie. Money in the Bank.
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: DOLPH ZIGGLER & BIG E. LANGSTON NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPS
-Chris Jericho vs. Fandango
So this guy's been getting repackaged for months and they want to put him in the ring with a wrestling god? His promos suck and could you even call Y2J vs Fandango a feud? I think not. But Fandango will probably steal the win prolonging their feud and Jericho will take time off to tour and come back with the "I still got it baby!" cheer then beat Fandango and disappear for a few months ago.
Like I said with Rock there's no point for some of the legends to be here unless they're going to bring Jericho to fix the US and IC title problems? I'd love to see a 10 time IC champion or even unify the titles! Screw it with the way heels are looking Smackdown will need faces soon and who better than Y2J to have his own show and steal it!
OUR HONEST VIEW'S WINNER: FANDANGO
-Brodus Clay, Tensai & The Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars & The Bella Twins
This will most likely be a squash match but hopefully some good dancing or something because it's Wresltemania. It's a shame because I remember TLC matches and amazing tag team turmoil matches at Wrestlemania. This just seems like a filler while the big guys stretch. Probably the only sign of divas.
