This is usually reserved for the Rock but I don't care.

Finally Deadpool has come back to CONSOLES!

This game looks Amazing.

And not it's not Amazing Spiderman it's Deadpool.

He's Deadpool and he's back with his same finishers from Marvel Vs. Capcom 3!

This trailer reminded me a lot of the Spiderman non movie games like Edge of Time and Shattered Dimensions. Not the best graphics but something to say the least.

I don't except much in graphics because it's Deadpool I except a short fun story, button smashing and great dialogue.

This game is made by High Noon Studios and published by Activison. They have a great history together and are the team who brought you the Bourne Identity game, and the last three Transformers Games. So they know what they're doing. Graphically NO, but story wise yes!

However after Activison approving the idea of Walking Dead Survival Instinct I'm a little worried. Thankful Deadpool is NOT one dimension and has been revised and reworked by many artists and writers giving the team a HUGE opportunity and material.

It's kind of hard to mess up Deadpool. He's a anti-hero WHO loves to break the fourth wall, so let him. Give him no chains, no filter and he'll make the game for you. He even says it in the trailer.

I love the idea of incorporating the other characters in the Marvel Universe. Like Cable, they have great history together and a great comic book series. Bring them together and Deadpool has a supporting hero to rely on for "hero moments". Other than that it adds depth and characterization to him. Granted in most Marvel games they're villains add depth to them, Deadpool needs the heroes that just want to shut him up!

Combat wise this game will be your typical button mashing game, relying heavily on Deadpool's swords and guns. I'm OK with another hack and slash. I feel it'll play A LOT like Wolverine Uncaged which was exciting but repetitive and boring seeing as Wolverine is one dimensional. I also see a lot of Lollipop Chainsaw in this game except Deadpool instead of Juliet.

The best part about this game is when you pre-order GameStop and EBGames will release the Merc with a Map Pack DLC. Two new maps are also added, the GRT Plaza and Inside the Tower to Deadpool Challenge mode, and also two bonus costumes, the D-Pooly and Uncanny X-Force suits only for use in the unlockable Infinite mode where stats are tracked on a global leaderboard.

This game by no means will game of the year. But if you are asking for a movie this may be all you get! Plus it's Deadpool so if worse comes to worse it'll be a cult classic like him! I also believe that come VGA's at the end of the year you'll see Deadpool winning some sort of awards. Deadpool it hits stores June 25th, 2013. Pre-Order now!

SPECIAL Review: "Walking Dead: Welcome To The Tombs" (2013) "Mouth STILL On The Floor"

REMEMBER to BECOME a FAN by LIKING our FACEBOOK page: Our Honest View
CONTAINS SPOILERS:
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
Special Review: The Walking Dead is known for having a action packed episode then drawn out boring episodes following.

They however have been on a roll, three episodes to be exact. The last three episodes including the season finale have revealed so much about the show, characters and have changed the landscape drastically.
By; Gabriel Roderick

We saw the Governor go on the hunt after Andrea in one of the most disturbing episodes of all. The cat and mouse technique they used scared me more than normal because for more than once it was not just zombies it was humans killing humans. They also helped show the Govenror as the true monster he is.

I knew AMC would have trouble showing this because of how GRAPHIC the comics truly are. So his actions, his dialogue and more importantly his clothing over the last few episodes has shown us the monster.

The way he slaughtered Merle and forced him to become a walker, after he told Woodbury never let that happen to the living. The way he tortured Andrea and Milton just furthered this point.

Now let's get to the season finale. For one the beginning was scary, you had no idea whose idea you were looking through but the emotion was rage. Not to give away plot but it was a suprise to see Milton being beaten then stabbed. What was nice about it was the fact that Glenn and Maggie had prison riot gear on just like in the comic book.

The Governor had abandoned his own code and started leaving the living to die and come back. The assault on the Prison wasn't as good as I thought it'd be, I had no idea that Rick's group had a plan which was good leaving it for a suprise till the end.

But the methods of fiting in the catacombs wasn't as intresting as I'd thought it'd be. Plus the Governor's army seemed very small and Woodbury seemed small too however it seemed like more people would be there.

The most important part of this episode was the building of characters. The Governor kills all the army members that prove weak then decides to shoot them in the head except for one (THANK GOD).

However Rick's character is finally a Sheriff again and he can regain his role as the leader with his confidence again, though Carl disagrees. Carl kills a boy without hesitation, and tells Rick by not killing one person, that one person will kill someone he cares about, like a butterfly effect. Something that Governor tells Milton must be done in order to survive now.

Carl drops Rick's badge, this is symbolic as the fall between the relationship of the two and also the fact that Rick needs his crown to be king of sorts. Though the build up for season 3 showed this much earlier I'm surprised they saved this for the end. Carl became a mini Governor but can you blame him, he lost the idea of being a child which Rick still sees him as. Carl wants to be in the action, be apart of the leadership, possibly because he think he could have saved a few of the fallen friends? This also showed Carl torn, is there consequences in life seeing as he's not a normal teen, was Shane more influential on him?

Without ever meeting Governor and Carl bond, they both believe you have to kill to survive if you don't kill you die. They both believe this idea and it's shaping who they've become or in Carl's case who he's becoming.

I love AND hate how Daryl was portrayed in this episode. I was surprised he wasn't as heartbroken to fight and wanted to fight as much knowing a possible outcome. Especially because Merle died being a good guy. That's what I hated. BUT I loved when Carol picked him up by the hand, he truly felt like he was his own and part of Rick's group.

Michonne also had this same moment, she talks with Rick on how she is now apart of the group because of Carl believing in her. And because Rick had to think about surrendering her means he wants her to stay.

By Rick accepting the Woodbury residents, like Tyrese who know understands how bad the Governor is, Rick can now build a Woodbury of sorts. It's like when the Roman empire fell of sorts but they're still rifts in the group.

Now Andrea's death was much needed and I'm glad they saved it until the end. She was done, there is nothing left for her character. She played peace keeper but the war is over, she'd never fit in either group again to much as changed. Though I'd thought she'd die more like a champ, just saying. Sadly her death had no real meaning besides sealing some sub plots. She seriously needed to learn to multitask though! Milton told her where the pliers were and that he was beginning to change. She took this as the time to ask him questions. Come on Andrea talk and cut yourself free!

When they said the bodycount would be high in this episode I didn't believe them but they sure proved it. This is the 3 episode once again where more walkers than you can count on your fingers and toes die. Also humans, Governor kills his army, and many others.

Some things I didn't like about this episode was there was no initial cool down from the intense episodes. For one it should have been made a fact that Rick's group only scared away the Governor's army and tried not to kill them. While the Governor ruthless killed them all.

The other thing that bothered me was in the last episode Rick said he had to take care of something, I figured this was going to Morgan for help. The traps they set on the army is something Morgan had utilized early on in his episode in order to escape from threats.

I'm sure most people will not like this season finale seeing as it's not like the other 2. Which is always a good thing. At the end of season 1 there wasn't much action besides leaving the CDC, and in season 2 Hershel's farm burning and loosing half the group.

Now I am really excited for Season 4, but it makes me wonder what happened to the Governor? Do the Prisoners face a new threat? Why didn't they take Woodbury? Why did Rick take all the rejects of the Governor's army? Something tells me the first episode will be action-less and more talking. But that's okay after tonight's episode.

Our Honest View gives "Welcome To The Tombs"- Walking Dead, 8.9/10. They spend some much time on character development on supporting characters and finalizing sub plots, they put a potential storyline on the back burner. This is a good and bad.  However you have to live the idea of three back to back action filled episodes.

Review: "Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon" (2013) "If You're Gonna Save Mario You Can't Always Be Scared."

REMEMBER to BECOME a FAN by LIKING our FACEBOOK page! Our Honest View

I remember playing Luigi's Mansion for Gamecube when it first came and saying to myself "Maybe he can make it on his own." Well he may have for the predecessor but Luigi has a tough time making the hero in the sequel.

Unlike most reviewers I did not like this game. Well let me rephrase that, there was more stuff I didn't like in this game than did like.

It's easier to start off listing the stuff I did like.

The 3D for one is great in this game and probably the best 3D for the 3D since Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. However the game constantly wants you to "tilt" your 3DS to angle the Poltergust 5000. To me this was a turn off because it changed how the 3D looked and started to give me a headache. Graphically it is far better than it's predecessor that was on a console. And for the Mario & Luigi franchise this is the best looking game.

I find it amazing how far Nintendo has come, seeing as 3D graphics were the initial plan to the original game but then scraped.

BAM!

You make a sequel that looks better than it's original on a HANDHELD and HAS 3D graphics.

I loved the Poltergust 5000, one weapon to rule the game. It is a all in one that also freezes the ghosts so Luigi can suck them up! This leaves the game simplistic with controls. I mean you use the system itself, the r button, x button and a button to adjust what angle you need.

The story of the game is as amazing as the graphics once again you have the fate of the world depending on Luigi. You must collect 5 pieces of the Dark Moon when your asked upon by Professor E. Gadd. Like I said 5 pieces of the Moon and there are 5 Mansions to go through this time.

With 5 mansions this game is literally 5 times longer than the original. I clocked in about 16 hours to beat the game, and if I remember correctly the original only took me about 5. I however like to find everything which took me so long to beat the game.

Not to go much into plot but once you find the fourth piece of the moon you are intercepted by King Boo who by no surprised has captured your brother.....MARIO! I thought Peach was suppose to be captured?

Now let me get back to more stuff I didn't like about this game.... The major thing in my eyes is the difficulty. Since the game has no real structure it's hard to collect everything for a level or mansion your in. Don't get me wrong I like the variety of enemies and their difficulty but if I'm in a haunted mansion with someone that is petrified I DON'T WANNA have to think about everything.

I also had to remember this is LUIGI NOT MARIO. So it's not a side scroller that takes a hour to beat with a high replay value. It's a action adventure game with a game. BUT the difference between the two brothers is Mario has more structure when side scrolling which is surprising.

Also the game is hard to find what your looking for. You'll watch a ghost run off with what you need and find yourself stuck in a room for 25 minutes to realize you can use your Poltergust to get out and go find the ghost THEN return. Granted the maps are small I don't particularity want to be traveling back and forth.

Back to difficulty, since there is no real targeting besides when you blind them with light, it is sometimes difficult to change a ghost and stop then when your Poltergust goes in a range motion.

And with no real checkpoints you can spend hours on a puzzle trying to solve something and HAVE to do it again. Sorry but if I'm investing this much time in a game I want to get one solid play through and not do it several times.

This game unlike most has one special feature which redeemed it in my eyes and it's the concept of MULTIPLAYER!!!!

I'd never thought that I would play a game just for the multiplayer but I did in Luigi's Manson. It is so much fun playing with other Luigis. You even have a command options to shout out at the others. You can play through different mansions clearing out of ghosts, or collecting items. There are bonus missions and time trails and other fun extras. For example they have a free for all to find 4 red coins at the end of each mansion when collecting ghosts. You have 10 seconds to go after them. So oblivious one player per coin. This adds up your total score at the end too.

It's truly Mario Party on steroids. The only thing I didn't like about the game is the clumsiness of it. Your playing on the same small maps with 3 other people, there's bumping into each other, stealing prices and keys and other course just sometimes a cluster. Sometimes you can suck up a item that another friend threw because your going after a ghost which is kind of annoying.  A ironic part about multiplayer is when you go to open a door it physcially opens and you walk through. However when a friend does, they phase through...

I'm confused here.

Who am I after then??

The game includes local, online and even a download mode for multiplayer. So even if your around a friend who doesn't have the game it stays true to the multiplayer Mario games. I was hoping however with the multiplayer you could play co-op that would help make this game a little less challenging and a little more exciting.

This new idea with the multiplayer though is the closest thing you'll get to Ghostbusters in 3D.

Our Honest View gives Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon 7.5/10. We've waited for almost 3 years for this game. With the hype that it would be the best 3ds game it is and it isn't. Graphically and story wise it's the best game in the Mario & Luigi I've played. Difficultly wise it was rather disappointed with no set structure. However multiplayer in a Nintendo game will always be redeeming for us!

Review: "Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel DEMO" (2013) "Can Bromances Save The Day?"

REMEMBER to BECOME a FAN by LIKING our FACEBOOK page: Our Honest View

That the demo EA offers us on the psn I'll keep my review short.

From the 15 minutes or so of gameplay this game looks just like the other two Army Of Two in the series. Boring, repetitive and only good with two players.

Granted this game has potential as did the other too. When you play with a friend you can team up, and destroy. However like most co-op based games the AI hurts you more than it helps you.

In this demo you play as Alpha and your partner is Bravo, two badass' killing a army of drug traffickers. When teaming up with Bravo I found the screen telling me, that your partner has killed someone, or decoy. I thought I was shooting this guy but....NOPE Bravo takes the kill. Even the enemies were intense. Very few times I felt I had the advantage even when we sneaked up, they turned about and easily shoot the crap out of us!

God the controls in this demo were just evil! Granted it was your same run of the mill third person shooter BUT you have action buttons like taking cover or vaulted which make it very difficult to do. I know it wasn't my controller, and the game felt sluggish.

It's possibly that's a small glitch that can be fixed in the finished product, well I hope so. I would hate to have to play the entire game where I am constanly tapping the same bottom to vault or transfer cover to kill someone.

Oh wait why would I have to worry about missing opportunities? I have a AI who takes care of everything for me.

Another problem I had with this demo was the graphics make the game difficult to kill anything, especially when your in the air. Everything looks so blemished that it all blends together in one weird cool.

Plus none of it looks realistic which is a hard idea to grasp I know! Especially with the idea that the game is based on realistic ideas etc. The deaths don't even seem realistic either, I mean if I shoot you up close with a shotgun, sorry but your gone bro...

However this game does have a positive note, the rest of the demo make suck BUT it has some realism to it. For one your in a crappy building with badass guns so when shooting at a structure the enemies are behind you can shoot right through. That being said you can also fatally shoot someone in the chest with one shot and not have to shoot them several times like most shooter games.

Only downside is the fact that if you shoot your enemies with shotguns across the rooms you can fatally shoot them, that just doesn't feel right to me.

The "bromance" between Alpha and Bravo is definitely there, they seem together in cut scenes, and of course when climbing up the walls or breaching. Since there is no real story in this demo it's hard to say if this romance will blossom for a good story or you'll be doomed with a bad AI.

Our Honest View gives Army of Two: Devil's Cartel demo 2.5/5. There's nothing impressive or anything screaming out that makes me want to drop 60$ on this game. The demo has all it's worse features and not many of the ones that Army of Two fans enjoy. And with no story or any give ways in the demo how can we be sure this is a typical co-op game.

Review: "The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct" (2013) "Not All Dixon's Are D***s."

REMEMBER to BECOME a FAN by LIKING our FACEBOOK page: Our Honest View

Let me just start off by saying I play all television and movie based games, everything deserves a chance.

When Telltale released The Walking Dead Season 1 game I thought what could be better, then when Activison announced this game I thought this could be!

BOY! Was I wrong.

This game starts out great with the normal Walking Dead television show eerie music! They show clips of the towns just like the show. The opening credits and music was a warning of eeriness just like the show's except I want to still want the show after. This should have been a warning not to play.

Right off the back I thought I was playing THQ's Homefront, which like Homefront felt just like a PS2 game.

This is 2013 why are games still producing mediocre graphics? This shouldn't be a surprise seeing as very little of the graphics of the game where shown until now. Everything just blends into one unappealing image. Even the walkers, I think I saw 4 different walkers and the rest are the same. The backgrounds and environments where horrendous!

At least with  Telltales' game the background didn't have a lot to do with the game, just were borders. BUT because the AMC version is the way it is, it makes a  lot of the game not IMPOSSIBLE but difficult. I also found myself glitching a lot in favor of me somethings or in favor of the walkers. I would be running along a hill THEN bam I'd be free failing in a graphic cyber space FOREVER then the game told me I was dead? I don't understand this..

Control wise this game is decent at best. Daryl is only human so running causes him to get tired. Leaving the option of sneaking up on Walkers your best bet. Stealth is key, otherwise you'll find yourself meeling every walker. Granted three of four shots to the head with a blunt object will kill a walker. You can't fatal stab them unless your grappling to save your life.

This game tries so hard to be like many games rolled in one. Such as, Dead Island with the attacking, Splinter Cell with stealth, Assassin Creed by sending out your friends to find supplies, and of course Call of Duty for the first person shooter feel.

A trade off feature I might as well throw in here is the game itself is about 5GB, not not a lot leaving much space on your console! HOWEVER 5GB leaves you to believe this game may not be all that stellar. I guess in this case the trade off is, bigger is better... Which also is suprising seeing as this game has sometimes unbearbale load times!

Another feature of the game that is difficult to digest is the auto save. It clearly marks when it is saving however it is so far and few that it does this. I found myself doing a entire mission and dying and having to restart BECAUSE it only auto saved when I began NOT when I finished my checkpoints.

For other gameplay the object of most of the missions is getting fuel to travel. You'll have the ability to change vehicles, which routes to travel etc. The routes you take will let you know whether or not you'll break down, find items or how dangerous it is to send out your campaigns. A great concept but hard to implement! However this is probably the only comparison between the two walking dead games.

Now for the one thing I truly enjoyed from this game came from pre-ordering it! This one feature is the same as it was in Call of Duty World At War. Know what it is?

Give up?

Nazi Zombies! You get to play Herd mode where each round you'll fight more and more zombies running at you like Dawn of the Dead remake. You'll find just the right about of ammunication and weapons to fight. Head shoots are easy seeing as they run in a straight line.

I found this the best because it was scary, surprising and addicting. I kept getting cornered by zombies, this made melee easier and also took away being attacked form behind.

The story of this game is probably the only redeeming thing, seeing as it bridges the gap between Daryl and Merle and the time before the show starts. I won't give spoilers or ruin it BUT besides a few SMALL features, Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus' performances were the only reason I played through this game.

Our Honest View gives Walking Dead Survival Instinct 1/5. This game tries so hard to play like blockbuster titles but ends up being just another Homefront. With a great concept such as stealth survivor horror you feel maybe Activison set the bar TO high. Don't get me wrong story wise this is a great game but story alone can't survive the walkers!

Preview: Ouya Console Should You Care?

REMEMBER  to BECOME a FAN by LIKING our FACEBOOK page: Our Honest View

The Ouya console has been announced.

Don't know what the Ouya is?

Well it's the smallest console, easily transported from friend's house to friend' house. It requires no disks therefore they can't be scratched or have to be bought.

You will be able to download games directly to this console the size of a Rubik's cube. So you'll have to use a credit or debit card in order to set up a account to download.

Just like a certain program that has destroyed physical PC games..OH I know Steam!

Ouya makers have promised favorite franchise such as Final Fantasy brought to you in full screen HD. It will use a nVIDIA quad-core CPU and outputs via HDMI to sum it up to a stunning 1080p resolution!

And for only a 100$ why the hell not give this a shot! A lot cheaper than buying a new xbox 360 or ps3! www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=16k-3-ouya,28zu0

Don't get me wrong I still have my reservations but this game can support up to 4 gamers at once with Bluetooth controller.! Has built in a wirless.

Oh yeah!

And most importantly if you want to develop games, just plug your laptop into the micro-USB port and anyone can release an OUYA game!

This thing has pretty sweet specs!
Memory: 1GB Ram
CPU: nVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-Core
Storage: 8 GB Internal Flash Storage (Of course this expandable via USB Port)
Connectivity: Wifi (802.11 b/g/n), Ethernet port, and Bluetooth
USB: One USB 2.0 port, one micro USB port
Output: HDMI (up to 1080p HD)

The only downsides I'm seeing are what's the library going to consist of and of course how big the games are. These are obviously small prices to pay to give this thing a shot for 100$. I can always buy a external hard drive, which on xbox 4gb would cost you at least another 129.99$ totaling over 300$.

Plus I am still unsure about the library but if this takes of who knows what could happen to the library? There is a unofficial list of games surfacing online promising some fun arcade adventures. Such as Minecraft as well! This could be a strong launch!

The biggest thing about this that separates it besides price is the idea that Steam will be compatible on this console. Meaning my Steam library will be able to be played on my ouya console. This leaves me wondering will the graphics be better than my pc? And 8GB won't hold one of my steam games!

Still many questions on the Ouya but for a 100$ I'm on the band wagon and willing to believe this console has as much potential as all next gen. consoles.

Stay tune for more details as they become available!

The Media Buzz: March 12th!

Lots of games and movies are being announced every day. An with Pax East on the horizon it looks like there may not be enough time to showoff all these games!

REMEMBER to LIKE our FACEBOOK page Our Honest View

3 of biggest things today in the media world are; Hangover 3 trailer, The Last Of Us official demo, and of course the release date for Beyond Two Souls!

First let's talk about the new Hangover 3 trailer titled; "The Hangover Part III" with a tentative release date of May 24th, 2013. The trailer seems to be promising us something you, kinda of!

Of course to end the series with a epic conclusion you'd have to return to where this series started Las Vegas. According Zach Galifianakis the point of the movie will be saving Alan from a mental. Something new and exciting.

Also!

A funeral scene shown in the trailer. This movie leaves much surprise and looks like the same premise of the other two movies but hopefully different story. Isn't that we love the series? A horse can do the same trick a 1,000 times, but it's only exciting maybe the first thirty or so.

                                                                                   **Borrowed from Warner Bros.**

Now let's talk about the official demo of the highly anticipated game, The Last of Us. Confirmed by Naughty Dog and on the case of God of War: Ascension, buyers will be able to get to play a exclusive demo of the game.

BUT WHEN IS THIS?

Naughty Dog confirmed today that GoW buyer's will be able to play the demo on May 31st, 2013.. So long away and yes you'll have to hold on to the game till then!

This will give us two weeks to play the demo BEFORE the game comes out with it's new tentative release date of June 14th, 2013. Don't be fooled by the instructions in the game case that say May 7th 2013, this not the real date and the game was pushed up!

However all the pre-order bonus' of The Sights and Sounds Pack are correct, confirmed by Gamestop!
Pre-ordering this game will get you the following!
  1. Official  Game Soundtrack
  2. PS3 Dynamic Theme
  3. PlayStation Network Avatars: Winter Joel and Elie
AND people that don't buy the GoW game may NOT be able to play any sort of demo and may have to wait till June!

If this was any other company than Naughty Dog I'd be worried only giving me two weeks to test out their potential game of the year.

Third and final in our Daily News is the release date of Beyond: Two Souls, another Ps3 exclusive developed by Quantic Dream. A french developing company who we're also responsible for my favorite and one of the best games ever! Heavy Rain! And the date for all you fans is October 18th, 2013.

If you still not don't know what this game is! Well shame on you. This is the game everyone has been talking about since E3 last year!

Ellen Paige voice and motion captured ring a bell and protagonist.

A supposed antagonist as the likes of Willem Dafoe? What's not to like about this game?!

This game will explore what happens after death and of course follow the life of Ellen Paige's character Jodie.

This isn't a sequel to Heavy Rain though they promised us one!

To sum up today's media buzz in 60 words of less , The Hangover Part III promised a new story and not as stale as the last sequel. While The Last Of Us leaves Sony fans waiting to play the demo after they just paid 60$! And Beyond: Two Souls will be out this year! Leaving the question which out of the two will be game of the year? Only time!
