What developers are able to do with the PlayStation 3 never
ceases to amaze me this console has been out for about seven years and this new
installment into the God of War series looks absolutely amazing.
The demo
luckily does not go into too much detail on the story aspect but it does give
you a good range of enemies to kill and get a taste for what the real game will
hold. The demo starts off with Kratos being held prisoner by the furies and
seeing as how this game is a prequel in the series it might finally show what
made Kratos so angry and merciless in the third game that made him kill
everyone from Gods to their mistresses.
Also as far as the demo is concerned the combat is in my opinion
unchanged you still use the standard light and heavy attacks to whittle enemies
down and have huge epic boss battles that require quick time events that end
the fight in a spectacle of blood and carnage.
There is also a bunch of bonus
content on this demo as well which is the live action trailer which is a must
see, an interview with the creator and a couple of other trailers making this a
rather promising demo which gives the player a lot for the time it takes to
download. Let's keep it short and sweet so you can go download this 3.5 gb demo! Isn’t much else the demo really shoes it leaves you
at a cliffhanger which makes you want to play more so it does its job well.
Our Honest View gives the "GOW" single player demo a 5 out of 5. It's a must download for all the content it
offers and really makes the wait till 03/12/2013 even more unbearable. The countdown begins!
Replay Value: Moderately High (BUT MIGHT AS WELL GO PRE ORDER OR BUY THE GAME?!?!)
