However it appears Red-Mist like his father in the first movie has died. Christopher Mintz-Plasse will be taking on the role of "The Mother Fucker". What's great about this trailer is also the movie look sto take place right after the first.
Two things have been established by this trailer. One Mintz-Plasse character Chris D'Amico knows who all the super heroes are is still wants to exact revenge on Kick-Ass for killing his father. And two something has to go down for the police to go after the super heroes, possibly follow the game plot of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2? But in a "R" rated fashion, one would hope.
Also this movie seems to be following in the footsteps of the Avengers movie. Seeming as how they're all going to have to work together and get along. Hit Girl and Kick-Ass have alliance but we'll see where that goes.
Also added to the main cast is Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes and looking at this trailer it seems like his new film The Incredible Burt Wonderstone he'll be stealing the show!
This trailer looks as action and dialogued backed as the first one! Let's hope now that Chloë Grace Moretz is older her foul language will be "more" appropriate.
This is the first time I've ever previewed a Red Band trailer and I can see why they're aren't many, this would never be appropriate for television previews.

All I can say is that this trailer looks promising just as the first one did! To bad we have to wait over 5 months before the film is released.
