Review: "The Walking Dead" (Video Game 2012) Telltale Games sercures their spot!

If you haven't downloaded the episodes yet I suggest that you either download all five episodes of "Walking Dead", or buy the physical disc from your local Gamestop for 30$!.

Telltale games has done the impossible, it's turns the hit comic book/ television show and turned it into possible the best game of 2012. This game is not only amazing it is awesome affordable. Especially after the holidays if you find an extra 30$ in your pocket I highly suggest buying this game, even using some left over psn credits or Microsoft points.

David "DJ" Duarte our wrestling reporter brought this game to my attention recently. When the game came out on the marketplace I assumed it was just gonna be another "Game of Thrones" or "Prison Break" game. BOY, was I wrong. This game is truly an epic tale, with five amazing episodes one leading into the next until the sad cliffhanger.

COME ON, I can't wait for season two of the game! To not give much away you play as a convict, Lee trying to find out what is going on in the world and after stumbling in the little resourceful Clementine's backyard, he (If you choose this) feels responsible and begins to look out for Clementine until she can find her parents. They had gone to Savannah right before the dead began to walk.

This isn't your typical game, which is one of the reasons it is so special and epic. This is a point and click game only. The only action that your are apart of as the player is clicking on the appropriate action for your character Lee to take. The choices you make will also impact the game, and how the other characters view you. Taking a side is everything.

Hell, I became so involved by the end of episode two, that I felt like I was Lee and Clementine was my responsibility. You will travel for much of the game, trying to see if the rest of the world is the same.
The easiest way to set the mood between the living and the walkers in the game is Ken Foree's quote from his cameo in Zack Snyder's "Dawn of the Dead (2004)" remake; "When there's no more room in hell, then the dead will walk the earth." This leaves the player's ultimate job and choice to give belief that everything will be okay in the end.

Though any fan of the series knows, when you get into a quagmire of that magnitude there is little hope. That is what Clementine is for however she constantly gives you the strength to be positive in the game. SO if you’re looking for your run of the mill shooter, or rpg game then "The Walking Dead" may not be your best choice. HOWEVER if you're looking for a game with an epic tale, that leaves you the player in shock and control over a situation while then "The Walking Dead" is for you!

Greatest Review's gives Telltale Games "The Walking Dead" 5 stars out of 5. For a riveting tale that brings the series to life in the hands of the player.
