**Contains Spoilers, Be Warned**

**Okay, You've Been Warned**

Let me start by saying that this movie had one of the best intros that I have ever seen. To those who haven't seen the previous 5 movies, they give you a awesome video montage of the films with a kick ass rap song, We Own It, by 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa. The montage only shows you the important parts that pertain to this film, which happens to be a lot!

However if you haven't seen the other films its okay!

Image 2
For this is NOT a Fast and Furious movie by any means, it's a fantastic, cliched filled action movie with a new twist however. I am a real fan of the Fast and Furious movies and the original four where known for a little bit of a story and a lot of driving a lot like Transformers but without the transforming. Fast and Furious was all about illegal driving, drug trafficking and high way robberies, literally.

However with the success of Fast Five and this film, cars have decreased in the films and the story has jumped up! That's okay though I'm not complaining per say but Fast and Furious 6 was plagued with two huge parts to it.

It did bother me a little that so much little thought was put into making cars to match Shaw's vehicles.  They ditched the cars to throw punches.

For one they went from robberies and high stakes racing to saving the world, literately if they didn't stop Shaw (Luke Evans) then the world was jeopardy. Shaw was trying to steal equipment in order to shut down a countries electronics for over 24 hours.

Just seemed like a HUGE jump, now saying that robbing a billionaire in Rio to saving the world.

The other thing that just didn't fit in with the series is some of the stunt seemed way to unbelievable. For one Dom (Vin Diesel) jumps across a bridge in order to catch Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) in the air and land on top of a car. There is no way he could have timed that and not break his back! That bothered me.
Image 3

Plus when they're taking down the plane to stop Shaw, that stretch of runway seems to last about I don't know 10 miles?

If the plane can't get up in the air within that stretch I wouldn't get on that plane. I understand that a plane can have to much weight but as Roman (Tyrese Gibson) says, "It's not a plane, it's a planet!)

Since this was a huge ACTION movie a lot of the scenes are filmed in the run of the mill quick or fast pace. I found my eyes straining at some points where the action was suppose to be the best. I didn't like this switch. Th other films the cars may have been moving at 100 mph but the scenes flowed just right.

The one other thing that bothered me on this film is something minor but the movie drags in the middle. It isn't the run of the mill hour and forty five minute movie like the other four. Seeing as Fast Five was a lot longer as well. Anyways the movie moves very quickly in the beginning but then drags with a HUGE story. I found myself bored for a bit but quickly this was put to rest when the movie starts to pick up towards the last forty five minutes.

Now this bothered me but this was also awesome. Seeing as their is about 10 characters and most are the major characters of the story. In Fast Five there was about 12 characters but only 4 or 5 were major! Now with 6, you not only have more major characters you also have the character development.

Though I don't feel Shaw got enough time in the film, he didn't develope as much as the other ones did. A HUGE plot twist however was the unfolding of Hobbs (The Rock) partner Riley (Gina Carano) being Shaw's girlfriend. She developed more than Shaw and her death seemed more action packed and story driven then his. His death truly was overcast  by the idea that Vin Diesel almost died.

Han (Sung Kang) and  Gisele (Gal Gadot) have huge roles in this film among others but their relationship and the events that transpire with Shaw are what will eventually lead to, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.

 Yes.

Finally, Tokyo Drift now makes sense, well kind of .

At the end of Fast and Furious 6 if you stay past the credits of course they show you scene of Han, Sean (Lucas Black) and  Takashi/"Drift King"/DK (Brian Tee) racing through Tokyo which
eventually leads to Han's death.

However in this turn events the explosion that kills Han comes from a trigger man, a trigger man named Ian Shaw (Jason Statham), challenging to go over Dom.

The plot was a solid action film though,  a bunch of bad guys want to steal something, sell it and watch the world burn. It's up to the good guys to fix it but oh WAIT, the always need to help to beat evil so they get more good guys to help. The good guys are outclassed, and outmatched but somehow they survive and pull through.

Image 4
The greatest individual character development is Letty, she never gets the camera time she deserves in the previous films to compensate on how powerful she is in Dom's life. When they try to put her on her own she is "killed" in Fast and Furious (2009). HOWEVER she is not dead but lost her memory, and it's up to Dom and Brian (Paul Walker) to describe who she is in terms of bringing back her memory. She also tries to remember who she is by living a life that's not hers.

It's cool because this is the only development that Shaw gets, is the idea that has been in control of everything since the previous two films with control of Braga etc. Now this is a good twist to the film adding something new than the usual action movies.

Rock is your typical funny badass that we've grown to love. I got to say this might be his best movie. I don't think he was made to be the main event, but sure a great supporting actor. He teams up with Diesel which may be the greatest team up since the Expendables (expect Hobbs and Dom can still fight). Rock is counterbalanced to have serious and even funnier moments through other characters like Roman and Tej (Chris Parker aka Ludacris) who even has a more impactful role than the other previous films.

Our Honest View gives Fast and Furious 6 a 8.8/10. This movie pushes the petal to the medal. The movie isn't a Fast and Furious movie by any means but an amazing action movie, with a fantastic story and cast. The bad guys being good guys is always a wonderful twist. This film could definitely be a stand alone film in my eyes, but strangely fits in the family of Fast and Furious series.

Review: "Pain & Gain" (2013) "Gained Nothing But A Pain In My Butt"

Are you a "Doer"?
By: Gabriel Roderick

Or are you a "Don'ter"?

While the validity of the movie raises many questions so does the choice of making this movie. Can we blame Michael Bay for another movie?

I mean you trade explosions and robots for exploding tempers and fast cars. Yes like every Michael Bay film this has many cars!

Don't get me wrong there were many things I liked about this movie such as the timeline. This took place in the 90s a very different time then today. This was a time where steroids where still new to the public, no facebook or social media outlets and of course a different overall scene.

I like how sudden give aways let you know about the film. Such as the side effects of steroids, the cheesy cellphones and of course the idea of #69.

Very cool technique!

Another film technique of his I enjoyed was every "relevant" character had a narrative that overlapped what was currently happening, somethings with quick and fast paced flashbacks that further what the character says. Seeing is believing I guess.

I liked this because I'm sick of films where the main character gives you the info on each character. However seeing as this film has three major characters and HUGE supporting characters this gives everyone their own identity adding to the idea of the cluster of a mess this situation actually was.

The cast of the film was a good choice though! Three main events is always good, Rock, Walhberg and Mackie who play; Lugo, Doyle and Doorbal respectively. However something to many egos can be bad, I couldn't tell who was cracking or feeling under the pressure more because of having three main characters.

The Rock of course outshines everyone in the film, he not only sings, he has a dark side, a compassionate side and just a sick twisted side. Rock is definitely the most convincing being his character.

Though I do have to question the validity of the film, something this fun and action can all be used to enhance a murder story.

This is also a good point as well using these men because it puts the blame of all three characters together. They're the reason of this. It's their fault. You get that feeling.

There unfortunately was a lot of things I didn't like about the film.

For one was the run time, running over 2 hours long, this essential documentary becomes to unbearable. You can truly tell a story in under 2 hours haven't they seen 60 minutes. In the beginning of the film the narrative tells you this movie takes place from September of 1994 to June of 1995. Great and dandy but 2 hours?

The film doesn't even feel like there was that huge amount of time. Only thirty days of the initial kidnapping of Kershaw are recalled. The rest is just assumed until the arrest of the men on June of 1995.

I won't ruin the rest for you but this story does have a seeming happy ending OR I guess a resolution?

They're caught tried and put on death row, all but Rock who knows what he did was wrong and eventually comes back from the dark side (After visiting it several times) and eventually is released from jail.

I don't get Michael Bays' idea of this movie?

Was capturing the fun adventures and escapades of murders that amusing? A few times during the film you are reminded of the fact that this is a true story.

Great we understand this and the movie seems really simple! So are you saying that anyone can attempt this for the "American Dream". While we constantly reminded us this true facts are filled in with humorous scenes, there are parts that remind me of the movie Dodgeball. I don't see a real connection that was trying to be made here.

I'm not sure if the character Walhberg portrays is really liked this and crazy. However if he truly believes that the Godfather movies are true representation on how to make your own success and life the American Dream, he may have it all wrong. Lugo is a bad guy yes!

We get that but why would you make him seem so human, so humorous if he's really a murder and a manipulator?

Our Honest View gives Pain & Gain, 6.25/10. This is a typical Michael Bay film leaving lots of questions and a ridiculous run time. The only difference is he changes a few key features of films like explosions and robots. There are some positives with this film but it is plagued with the fact that it's a true story and it's conveyed in a humorous light.

Review: "Rockpocalypse" (2013) "Do You Smell What You're Smart Phone.....Is... COOKING"

Ever been asked on Facebook who would be on your dream team in a apocalypse or war? Well if you picked Rock on your team, WWE made a game just for you.

WWE has been advertising for days a new mobile game to check out for smartphones and it of course with the popularity of his new movie it's a game based on the Rock!

I was surprised by the load times of this game, you can start this game up and literally go watch a Rock promo on television then come back and BAM it's loaded.

This game overall wasn't terrible but it was far from good on terms of being a mobile game! Graphically this game is a failure, it's blurry barley looks like Rock. I feel like WWE is trying so hard for this game to be Telltales Walking Dead game, since the games start off very similarly. You can't even see Rock's famous tattoos that are on everything now!

Enemy wise this game only has two and they change them up by making them harder to hit, and changing the order of the two and finally of course changing the appearances of the two. This actually leads to my only positive thing to say about the game.

You can customize the Rock, change his appearance and make him a better ass-kicker. I'll tell ya if I need to play as Rock and save all mankind I'm doing it in style. However having the Rock as a main character of the game is still too soon. Granted he can hold his own in the movies (barley) but in wrestling he hasn't been the main eventer in 10 years and is doing a bad job relying on his promos.

The one thing the customization of Rock is missing and very vital is you can't change his voice or catch phrases. So if your a Boots 2 Asses kind of guy then look no further. Rock will constantly shout out his phase catch phrases, that we've all heard 10 millions...AND I MEAN MILLIONS of Times..See what I mean?

The length of this mobile game was surprisingly short, I mean it's the Rock saving the world. Can you really sum this up in just a few short battles? Or a few short places?  I would like to see a evil Cena fighting rock or something.

Combat is your typical smartphone game, though I found it difficult sometimes swiping I don't know if it was me or the lagging in the game. I didn't like that I couldn't do a fake out move BUT my opponents could go in for a headbutt then switch to a right.. Come on, BUT what is Rock's finisher move in the game... NOT the Rockbottom of course but a Superman punch.. Since when does the Rock know how to fight? But sometimes he'd switch back to wrestler and drop the guy with a Superman Punch then deliver a People's Elbow on the ground.

Our Honest View gives Rockpocalypse 2.5/10. I didn't except much going into this game but I was hoping seeing as the Rock is the GREAT ONE and making WWE millions and I MEAN MILLIONS (Deja vu) of dollars by wearing the title, that they would give him a decent game.

Can You Smell What WWE Is Cooking For Wrestlemania 29? **Spoliers**

According to The Wrestling Observer four major matches have been announced for this years Wrestlemania.

PREPARE FOR THE SPOLIERS!

Once in a lifetime part two, this time for the WWE title.
John Cena vs. The Rock (who will most likely be champion leading up to their rematch)

Best in the world vs. Best streak in the world.
Cm Punk vs. The Undertaker (99.9999% chance Taker will win)

King of Kings rematch from Summerslam 2012.
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H

And finally...
The "Viper" Randy Orton vs Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Champion.
Doesn't seem clear who will be heading in as champ.

Of course WWE writers could scrap these ideas at any time.
However lets discuss the matches. I thought Cena-Rock was never gonna happen again? Well I guess WWE lied seeing as how much money they made from their match and year long build up. If this match does happen Rock has the potential of beating Cm Punk at Royal Rumble at the end of the month. My money is still on Punk. This also means that Rock will have to be with WWE extensively seeing as the Champ must defend their title at Elimination Chamber in February. There still leaves the possibility of Cena winning Royal Rumble but I highly doubt it. Looking at these matches there is gonna have to be some shuffling around for the WHC on Smackdown. This leads to the question, what's gonna happen to Del Rio?

The Best in the world vs. Best steak in the world,  is something I have been hoping for for a long time. Probably since Cm Punk's feud with Taker when Punk had his "Jesus-like" heel turn.  Taker is a striker who knows one or two things about submissions. Where Punk's resume far exceeds this, he also has extensive mat and wrestling ability. This however still won't be a main event match sorry Punk :( BUT lets hope for a clean win. I'd like to see how well Taker can work with Punk with Taker being away from the ring 10 months out of the year.

One of my favorite matches of 2012 was Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar. We saw what Lesnar could do after his destruction to Cena. We know what Heyman can do given a mic. Their match at Summerslam was one of the best matches. It saw a professional wrestler "fight" a mma fighter and hold his own. With some much story behind it, the match had a amazing finish. With Brock proclaiming that he was "The new king of kings". No way in hell Triple would let that fly, and seeing as Lesnar's year long contract expires the following night, if he still cares about wrestling this is going to be a final to remember. Triple H will probably wants to one up his performance at Wrestlemania 28, plus a score to settle from Summerslam.

And finally the match that SO far has no relevance besides a few five second promos. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus. We know this will be a great match however there is two major questions to attribute to this. One how does Del Rio who just won the WHC a few nights ago fit into this equation and two who is gonna be the heel. Orton has stated numerous times over the last year that he rather be a heel. Personally I feel Orton is a better heel than face, because Sheamus can pull off looking like a cena-face while Orton can't. Granted the fans cheered him more when he punted or RKO'd as a heel his promos are way better. By keeping him as face they take the venom away from a Viper. Most people will disagree with this but we'll have to wait and see. The only way I am seeing this match happening though is if one of the two wins the Royal Rumble. I can see both being the last two men in the ring and one eliminating the other in a similar fashion to Bulldog and HBK. Then the loser will go on and win the Elimination Chamber match probably dethroning Del Rio. The winner of Rumble and chamber match will have their feud and lead up to the match at WM29? Well that's my guess.

Greatest Review's gives WWE's plans for matches at Wrestlemania 29 5 stars out of 5. For matches we've been waiting to see.
