Side Effects, the suspense driven drama covering the life of Emily Taylor, (played by Rooney Mara) and her psychiatrist, (played by Jude Law).

Emily Taylor is just incredible in this movie. Her acting is absolutely outstanding, and it's incredible how well she sets the emotion and atmosphere for the movie. She sincerely locks the emotion in your head that the events she lives easily could be you.

Emily's husband Martin (played by Channing Tatum) is a released prison convict, which is awkward because frankly Martin is frankly just a giant sweetheart (I'm not sure If that was intended or Channing's personality)... I really wasn't positive how to take him.

The psychiatrist, Johnathan Banks is outstanding. Coming off as a modern day workaholic and a damn good one at that. Definitely one of the few times I've viewed a doctor and been able to think "right or wrong, this guy is awesome!"

Moving to my thoughts on the script itself, one of the things I loved about the script was how deep it was. Everything had significance, and all of it had meaning.

The atmosphere of the movie was incredible, each characters emotions and actions were very understandable, nothing felt like it was random or senseless, and as the plot unfolds everything feels complete.

Our Honest Review gives "Side Effects" (2013) 5 stars out of 5 proudly of course. We suggest this movie to ANYONE who wants to see a good movie.
