**This Review Contains Spoilers**

**You've Been Warned**

So we start off season three with a bang!

A much confusing bang, but a band nonetheless. Season three takes place 4 months after the events of season 2. We start off with Dr. Deaton's daughter saving Issac from the pack of Alphas. Well twin Alphas that can actually shapeshift into one enormous Alpha!

We then shift to Scott who out of all the characters seems to have changed the most. He's bigger, smarter and wants a tattoo. This is obvious to symbolize the idea of him getting his own pack and wanting a symbol like the opposing group of Alphas. Of course at first he goes through all the pain of the tattoo, only for it to heal!

After a encounter with Lydia and Alison on the highway, Lydia makes a joke that Jackson moved to London after training with Derek. This is a little play on the movie American Werewolf in Paris I'm guessing?

Anyways we see strike one in the list of omens, a deer runs straight into Lydia's car and Scott can tell that the deer is afraid.

While at school Scott is summoned to the hospital while it's Isaac's wish before he is put into a coma by the Alphas posing as doctors. At school Stiles sees a bite mark on Lydia and begins to foreshadow coming events, once that happens man crows begin to crash through the windows of the class room, blood goes flying everywhere of course, and that makes strike three! Obviously we're building up to something big!

I like adding all this new supernatural ideas and other powers for werewolves is good, because they're keeping the other creatures to a minimal and keeping the true roots of the name alive. I'm sure like season two they'll be a new breed of something!

Scott of course after helping what he believes is a blind bystander manages to stop the elevator just in time to fight a Alpha and save Issac. This was a great fight, in a confined area between two werewolves and something new!!

Of course Derek to the recuse, and he stops the Alpha for enough time to get away.

Derek then burns a tattoo into Scott's arm for him with fire, claiming that the tattoo is now a open wound to represent the wound Alison left for him. Still in my opinion foreshadowing the future of him becoming a ALPHA! This seems to be a reoccurring theme of symbols to represent power and leadership.

Even the Deaton's seem to have their own and of course other supernatural powers!

Dr.Deaton's daughter is then attacked by the entire pack, twins, a girl nurse and of course a doctor are revealed to be some of the Alphas, but Derek warned Scott there must be a leader! Another great fight, she can kick ass, but against a team of Alphas no such luck!

This made me sad because you got no real feel of her character but through other characters and her performance was cut short. Now we must see through all the other characters.

And no surprise!

It's the blind man, and as he kills the daughter he is warned about what the man Scott will become!

We then see Boyd and Erica still alive and holding on together for hope presuming!

Don't get me wrong this episode had some huge points, like placing all the Alphas in everyday society based around the group of Werewolves in Beacon Hills, and a character change for the positive for Scott!

Our Honest View gives, Teen Wolf; Tattoo (S.3/Ep.1 2013) a 8.9/10. This was a great season premier but it was suffocated by some many emerging plot lines and unanswered questions from the previous season. If they're going to abandon ideas they should have buried them in the premier rather than start a whole bunch of new ones.
